In the age of mass surveillance, how can radicals and dissidents organize effectively? How can we keep ourselves and each other safe from spying, and prevent our efforts from being weakened by electronic disruption?
We will cover:
How to think about infosec in the age of mass surveillance
Techniques for keeping our communications private
Protecting our anonymity
This is a workshop for anyone who wants to learn (or teach) about information security.
All skill levels are welcome.
Women, queer and trans folks (and other people traditionally excluded from tech discussions) are especially welcome.
This will be a hands-on workshop. If you have a computer and/or smartphone, bring it.
